Host/Cashier

Duties: Randy's University Diner is seeking a FULL Time and part time host. Weekends are required. Join a great team in a locally owned family business. - Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Manage the waitlist
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries
- Operate the POS system to process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/cashier station
- Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with POS system is a plus
- Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong guest relations skills and ability to provide exceptional service
- Basic knowledge of food service procedures
- Willingness to help out in other areas of the restaurant as needed
